| Thomas Tucher |

| Thomas Tucher (or Ducher) was born on 16 February 1590 and was the son of Hans Tucher II. Like his father he was a Nuremberg sundial maker and produced a great number of fine diptych sundials which he signed 'TD' or with a crowned snake, his father's master sign. Many of his dials are decorated with a globe motif.
A small number of the sundials attributed to Thomas Tucher are dated, suggesting that he produced dials from as early as 1600 up to the year of his death. Thomas Tucher died on 11 December 1645.
