Pendant Sundial

Sandstone; 83 x 110 x 23 mm

This sandstone dial has an oblong form created by two circles partly juxtaposing, and was designed for two gnomons. The upper circle has 8 lines departing from the centre, where the gnomon was, and dots on the borders of the circle. The lower part has cross-shaped hour lines and dots for the half-hours.

The dial is perforated from side to side for suspension.
