 Petrus ab Aggere
Petrus ab Aggere was a Flemish instrument maker and map engraver, whose name is possibly latinized from the Flemish name van Rampaart. He is known as the maker of several mathematical instruments, including sundials, ring dials, astronomical compendia and simple theodolites.

In the late 1500s he worked in Brussels, but a signed instrument from the early 1560s suggests that he was working in Madrid at this point, and an instrument by him in Florence (Epact 29051) specifies Toledo as its place of manufacture.

For instruments by Petrus ab Aggere, see:
Equinoctial Dial, Signed by Petrus ab Aggere, Madrid, Dated 1562 (Oxford, MHS)
Theodolite, Signed by Petrus ab Aggere, Toledo, Dated 1560 (Firenze, IMSS)
