Brass and steel; 300 mm in length

The instrument is housed in a leather case and is complete with accessories. The main compass has iron points, attached to the brass part by means of four screws. The hinge of the compass is globular and the legs are decorated. The accessories comprise two points, two curved points, a pair of tweezers, a pencil holder, a paper cutter, a small toothed roll (rotella).
