Pau was a town in the province of B?arn in south-western France. An instrument by Hierosme Vize Menusier, who is not otherwise known, comes from there. It was made in 1567 at a time when Pau was the seat of government for B?arn and the site of the court of Catherine, sister of Henri IV.
