Narbonne
Narbonne in France, though the seat of an Archbishop and with a history that could be traced to before the Roman invasion of Gaul, had lost much of its former importance by the time the astrolabe included in Epact was made. It has no other recorded connection with instrument making.

For Narbonne instruments, see:
Astrolabe, Signed by Morillard, Narbonne, Dated 1600 (Oxford, MHS)
