| Carlo Plato |
 |
| Carlo Plato, who signed himself as Carolus Plato or Platel, made beautiful and very ornate astronomical instruments, such as armillary spheres, and time-measuring instruments, such as sundials. We only know that he was active in Rome in the second half of the 16th century.
