Notes:
Marconiphone Two-receiver'>Valve Receiver Type 21, with valves (OFF/ON), inductance (scale 0-20) and reaction (scale 0-10) tuning dials, and four assorted dials on ebonite front panel in polished mahogany case. Assorted dials consist of two pairs: "A" and "E", and "+" and "-" "PHONES" dials. Lid lifts to reveal interior including a "LOTUS INTERVALVE L.F. TRANSFORM", two valves, tuning device, assorted dials, "MARCONIPHONE VARIABLE RESISTANT (PAT. NO. 210670)", and assorted electronic components. Assorted coloured wires protrude from lower rear section. With BBC logo and "G. Marconi" signature transfers on reverse and obverse of lid respectively. BBC logo ("ENTIRELY BRITISH MANUFACTURE") was used between September 1924 and 1927.
