Giovanni Paolo Ferreri
Giovanni Paolo Ferreri (Joannes Paulus Ferrerius) was possibly of French origin and worked in Rome during the first quarter of the 17th century. He is represented in Epact by an armillary sphere and there are also three other armillary spheres by him, preserved in the National Maritime Museum (Greenwich): two smaller ones dated 1602 and the third similar in size to the Epact example dated 1624.
