 Anthoine Mestrel
Anthoine Mestrel is known only as the name on a universal astrolabe dated Paris 1551. The astrolabe carries the orthographic projection of the sphere associated with Juan de Rojas whose publication coincides in place and year with the astrolabe. The close resemblance between the instrument and the plates in the book suggests that Mestrel may have had some connection with the publisher.
