The rete is of the foliate (single knob) type. Note that the bird-shaped star poniters are decoratively engraved on both sides of the rete..Two star pointers (النسر الواقع and النسر الطاير) are indicated by the figures of birds.The zodiac on the rete is labelled: الحمل , الثور , الجوزا , السرطان , الاسد , السنبله , الميزان , العقرب , القوس , الجدي , الدلو , الحوت
