Womb


This is the front side of the single plate that survives. There are five holes, irregularly spaced around the edge, that might have been intended for the rivets that affixed the limb. Now, rivets pass through two of those holes and hold silver fish in place. There are a series of sixteen concentric circles engraved on this side of the plate.. The womb is inscribed:
