Reports on front page and pages six and seven indicated erroneously that the Titanic was being towed towards Halifax and most of the passengers had been transferred to other ships. However, one report of page six reported correctly that the ship had sunk with a massive loss of life. All of these reports and news had been received by wireless telegraphy and page seven includes a photograph and details of Jack Phillips, one of the wireless operators aboard the Titanic.
