Text:

This valve is signed by the English company, the General Electric Co. Ltd. (GEC). This company made valves at the Osram-Robertson Lamp Works in Hammersmith, west London. In 1919, it co-founded the Marconi-Osram Valve Co. Ltd., a joint Marconi-GEC valve-manufacturing company. Therefore, this valve can be dated prior to 1919.
