Notes:
Marconi's Coherer Receiver, in japanned steel black box. With electric bell, and connected circuit in teak case (with removable cover) mounted on upper exterior surface of box. With coherer/tapper unit, six Obach's Patent batteries in series, and a Siemens telegraph relay that operated the electric bell on top of the box, within box. Siemens telegraph relay consists of lacquered brass cylinder with glazed top, mounted on a circular teak base. Coherer/tapper is mounted on rectangular mahogany? base. Batteries are connected together in a rectangular japanned steel black box. Coherer/tapper, relay and batteries are all mounted on teak panel that slides out of box.
