VU120A with cylindrical anode. Cathode runs vertically 6 mm from anode wall, top end of cathode is connected to a plate and a stout wire passes back down inside anode cavity. Heater is coated for insulation and four lengths are folded into cathode tube and connected at pinch end. Maximum reservoir capacitor is 0.25 µF, and minimum series resistance is 10 k Ohms.
