Notes:

Plate produced in commemoration of the event of the first wireless message being sent by an American President. Here it was President Roosevelt who sent a message from the Marconi Station at South Wellfleet to King Edward VII. The plate was made by W Adams and Co, Tunstall and imported into America by Everett I Nye in Wellfleet by French, Michett, Woodbury Co of Boston.

The plate has an applied transfer decoration, which depicts the Station buildings and aerial mast at South Wellfleet, Cape Cod, and has chips and repairs.
