Exhibition Medal Exposition of Decorative and Modern Art: Circular medal awarded to Marconi in recognition of his pioneering work at the Exposition of Decorative and Modern Art held in Turin in 1902. Medal is of a bronze-like gilt metal with foliate decoration on face side. Reverse side has nouveau style female face, scrolls and lettering including the name G. Marconi. Previously catalogued with a collection of other medallions (Inv. Num.s 72905, 40508, 53696).
