Notes:
Marconiphone Personal Receiver Type P17B, with four valves in black plastic case with chromium-plated speaker grille enclosed by hinged lid, connected to case with two cords. With leather handle on side of case. With two dials: one for volume (no scale) and other for waves (scale 200-550). Surface of the dials has been partly painted over by cream coloured pigment. Upper surface of the case has three marks from plastic tapes that would be attached previously. One screw from underside of lid missing.
