Notes:
High-Discrimination Communication Receiver Type Rg 44 with additional metal guard over vertical front surface, in grey steel container. With guard channel and frequency control plug-in units, assorted bakelite dials, knobs and switches, and a perspex-covered tuning receiver drum. With internal circuit consisting of one stage of Radio Frequency (R.F.) amplication, frst heterodyne oscillator, main-channel and guard channel mixers, two stages of Intermediate Frequency (I.F.) amplification, A.V.C. amplifier, detector, noise limiter, second heterodyne, Lower Frequency (L.F.) amplifier, output stage. With associated photocopied leaflets. Receiver has been well used and is slightly damaged and corroded in parts.
