Text:
In September 1925 a British Company, the International Wetsern Electric Company, was taken over by the International Telephone and Telegraph Company and its name was changed to the Standard Telephones and Cables Ltd. (STC). Previously vavles manufactured by the Western Electric Company had traded under the name of WecoValves. Hence, this valve can be dated between 1918 (when peanut-type valves were first developed) and 1925.
