Brass; 80 mm in diameter

This protractor consists of a graduated circle and a pointer. The central space is divided into four sections, one of which contains a small quadrant. This part of the instrument can rotate within the circle.

The instrument was used to calculate relationships between different angles, by using the position of the pointer on the graduated circle.
