Session outline

Our collection of sundials provides a great opportunity to explore properties and the behaviour of light, including how shadows are formed.

Find out about the light experiments of the Islamic scientist Al Haytham and make your own camera obscura to take home.

This session can be adapted for Lower KS2 or Upper KS2.
