Brief Description: Aluminium and black leather, in a tight-fitting, sturdy brown leather carrying case. If the metal is aluminium it is an early use in commercially produced scientific instruments. They were probably made by a German manufacturer.
Primary Inscriptions: Stamped around eyepieces "ADJUSTED | ELLIOTT BROS." and "101 ST. MARTINS LANE | LONDON"
Provenance: Presented by H. R. Bristow in 2015. Purchased by the donor from Green Dragon Antiques, Wincanton, Somerset.
