Brief Description: | Unusually large Butterfield dial. Octagonal base with inset compass, hour scales for 52, 46, 43, 65, 60, 55°, sprung folding gnomon with swan index moving against latitude scale 40-65°. Underside carries lists of latitudes. With original fishskin-covered case.
