Brief Description: | A 4½ inch pocket set of drawing instruments in a silver-mounted, fish-skin covered, wooden case. The set includes: a combined parallel ruler, protractor, plotting scale and diagonal scale; a combined sector and square; a pair of dividers; a pair of compasses with swivel points, steel and pencil; a drawing pen and pencil holder, the shaft of which can be unscrewed revealing a stylus. |
Primary Inscriptions: | The case is signed, "Thos. Heath Fecit."; the parallel ruler and the sector are also signed. |
