Brief Description: Two flat horse-shoe magnets with poles slightly curved outwards are held together in a mahogany and brass mounting. Large brass suspension ring and keeper with central hole for a hook (missing).

Provenance: Presented by Lewis Evans This magnet formerly belonged to Sir John Evans, K.C.B. (1823-1908), the archaeologist and numismatist and fathyer of Lewis Evans. From the collection of Lewis Evans.
