Brief Description: Lucernal microscope with case and accessories, by W.S. Jones, London. The instrument (.1) has a tapering wooden body and stands on a wooden board that dovetails into a slot on the top of the case. Another board takes its place when the instrument is stored. The instrument is contained in a long, tall wooden case (.2) that is open at both ends. A drawer (.3) of the same length as the case contains the parts and accessories. These are the copper alloy fittings for the lens and specimens (.4), six projection lenses and one objective with Lieberkühn (.5), two adjusting rods (.6), two copper alloy sliders, one with a spring clip (.7), two wooden sliders (.8) and a condenser on a pin (.9).
