Brief Description: | With scales for "Les Cordes", "Metaux", "Les parties Egales", "poligones", "poids des boulets", and "Calibre des piece [sic]". When opened at right-angles, a plumb-line and bob may be suspended from the apex of the triangle so formed. On the cross-piece, which keeps in position the arms of the sector, are engraved a central dotted line and arrow for use in levelling the plumb-line. |
