Latitude scale and elevating strut riveted to sides of dial.

Note that the colour coding of the scales for Italian and Babylonian hours has been reversed. The text says [in black] HORAE AB ORTV ET [in red] OCCASV SOLIS. So black should be Babylonian from dawn and red Italian from sunset. However the red hour lines are from dawn and the black from sunset.
