Brief Description: Pocket botanical microscope. A square copper alloy pillar takes the main body of the microscope, which has three swivelling lenses. A circular stage has an arm with a square hole to slide onto the pillar and a round hole for stage forceps. The wooden oval shaped base has a square hole into which the pillar slots and a round hole for the mirror. The plane mirror setting is contained in a horseshoe mount with a peg to slot into the microscope's base. The wooden case has a hinged lid with hook fasteners, a fish skin coating and a green velvet lining. The case also contains 3 bone sliders, stage forceps, a pin on an Ivory shaft and a small copper alloy peg.
