Brief Description: Cuff-type compound microscope by Mann & Ayscough; with tall central post, a plano-concave mirror in a horseshoe mount and a rectangular base which attaches to the wooden case. The accessories include a stage plate with card ring, six objectives, an ivory talc box filled with mica discs, two card pill boxes (one containing a single glass disc and the other containing mica discs and metal rings), a fishplate, stage forceps, a stage bullseye condenser lens, a substage cone aperture, a glass lens in copper alloy collar, five specimen slides (four bone and one metal), a Lieberk├╝hn in case and cylindrical holder, and a small brush. All stored in a rectangular wooden box with sliding lid and removable tray.
