Brief Description: Gelatine print mounted on dark green card. The Orion Nebula taken with a 15-inch reflecting telescope on December 12, 1912. Enlarged from the glass negative, with compass points drawn on front of mount and an explanatory note on back.

Exposure 2h.10m.. 1m.m.=26.5". | Enlargement made direct from the original negative and not shaded out in any way. | The dark holes at 66m.m..145m.m.. 150m.m. radially from NP corner are defects on the negative, and part of the light | streak along the extreme SF edge is a defect on the print. | C.
