Brief Description: Weather glass incorporating thermometer and storm glass, with printed instruction label of varnished paper, and ivory maker's plaque. The storm glass contains a semi-clear liquid with a brown residue.

A more primitive version of the same type of instrument was presented by the same donor (13384).
Primary Inscriptions: Printed label headed 'Admiral Fitzroy's | Weather Glass | made by' then ivory maker's plaque 'Watson Bros | 4 Pall Mall | London' screwed over the label.
Provenance: Presented by Mr Brian Wilson in 2011. Originally displayed on the 'Fourth Plinth' in conjunction with the 'Eccentricity' exhibition.
