Handbill (folio) advertising his course, as follows: A Course of Lectures on Botany, by James Edward Smith, M.D. F.R.S. will begin at Guy's Hospital, on Wednesday, April 8th, 1795. A Lecture will be read every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from Half past Five to Half past Six in the Evening, till the Course, consisting of about Eighteen Lectures, be completed. Tickets Two Guineas. ... On the same day (April 8th), at one o'clock, Dr Smith will begin his usual Botanical Course to Ladies and Gentlemen, at no. 12, Great Marlborough-Street, to be extended to the same Length as the above, and on the same Terms.
