Vol. 1 of the 'Statical essays' was originally published in 1727 as 'Vegetable staticks: or, an account of some statical experiments on the sap in vegetables'. Vol. 2 is entitled 'Statical essays: containing haemastaticks'. Spine incorrectly stamped 1733.
