Brief Description: Projection microscope, manufactured by Carl Zeiss. The instrument has A circular base which holds a sub stage lens. A dovetail pillar supports the circular stage which has two spring clips and moves on rackwork for focusing. A circular bracket is attached to the top of the pillar. This holds a socket for a large rectangular mirror on an adjustable hinge.
The instrument is stored in a wooden case with a key operated lock and metal carry handle. The case has internal fittings to hold the instrument and the following accessories: two sub stage lenses, four aperture discs, a mirror on a pillar with a leather cap, two threaded collars and three collars with a raised lip and internal thread.
