Brief Description: Mater, geographical plate, rete, rule; sundial plate, trigonus, nut and bolt. On the back is a sundial derived from the Rojas projection, with a 'trigonus' as described by Gemma Frisius in his edition to Apianus's Cosmographia.
Primary Inscriptions: "Aegidius cuiniet antuerpianus facieb. A. 1560" on the reverse below the cut-out for the plumb bob.
