Brief Description: Pair of wooden cabinets of slides with windowpane doors. Each cabinet contains 17 drawers, each with places for 12 glass slides for approximate total of 400 glass slides. Slides accompany RMS number 278 and are in the Turner Catalogue, entry number 155.
Primary Inscriptions: "313, High Holborn, W. WATSON & SON. London" on some slides, "NEWTON & CO, 3 Fleet St. Temple Bar LONDON" on others, "Prize Medal Paris 1867" on others, "GOLDMEDAILLEN St. Petersburg & Altona 1869 J.D. MÖLLER" on others.
