Brief Description: Bone Coherer Support Rod, made between February 1900 (foundation of Marconi's Wireless Telegraph Co. Ltd.) and 1905 (latest given date for this set of coherers). In form of small, narrow cylindrical off-white ivory rod with copper connection wires exiting from each end. With nickel-plated? components, including wire wrappings. Previously catalogued with other Bone Coherer Support Rod (Inv. Num. 72278), Pillbox With Spare Parts (Inv. Num. 50538), Cluster Of Six Small Glass Tubes (Inv. Num. 80963), Brass-Tipped Bone Stylus (Inv. Num. 82611), and Assorted Letters Relating To Early Coherers (Inv. Num. 51910).
Primary Inscriptions: "M.W.T.CO.LTD. / 21634 / PATENT / MM55" printed along handle of rod.
