Brief Description: Marconiphone Two-Valve Receiver Type V2A (Long Range Model), with two valves, one wavelength plate, regenerator unit in mahogany case with BBC and Marconi logo transfers. With nickel-plated terminals, bakelite plug dials and assorted metal components within interior. With two pairs of headphones and battery plugs on one exterior side, battery plugs marked Low Tension (L.T.) and High Tension (H.T.). With Aerial and Earth plugs on other exterior side. With three nickel-plated knobs on each exterior side: one on one side and two on the other. With a detachable mahogany front panel.
Primary Inscriptions: "MARCONIPHONE V2.A / Type R.B.I.B. Long Range Model M 19 / INST. No. S/E 7734" printed on celluloid plaque underneath range block holders. "G. Marconi [Signature Logo]" transfer upon exterior surface of case lid.
