Brief Description: | Gilt-brass with hour-lines marked on a semicircular band, within which is a circular disc, on one side of which are scales showing length of day and night, and times of sunrise and sunset, and on the other side a lunar volvelle and aspectarium; while at the top of the instrument is a compass minus its magnetic needle and glass cover. |
