Brief Description: 1. Used only with very early types of chamber whose bolts were flush with the base of the chamber. Chamber placed on the ebonite dome with a thin layer of "plasticene" round the edge. Inner ring of copper alloy placed over the chamber bolts. Outer rotatable copper alloy ring put over this with the flanges were to right and left. Specially shaped stage clips were applied to hold the chamber steady.
2. A holder based on design by J. S. Robertson. 1951. (Austral. J. exp. Biol. & med. Sci. 29; 393).
3. Spare ring for the above (#2) inverted to show how the nuts could be put on without projecting below.
