Brief Description: 10-inch Induction Coil, converted for use as a telephone transformer, on mahogany plinth. With wax-coated windings, ebonite ends, additional copper alloy components and terminals. With additional ivory? mini coil and eight lacquered copper alloy electrodes (marked "N", "P", "C1", "C1", "C2", "C2", "COIL", "COIL"), on upper surface of base. Missing spark-gap and outer Bakelite sleeve.
Primary Inscriptions: "MARCONI'S WIRELESS / TELEGRAPH COMPANY LD / LONDON. / NO. 330" printed on celluloid plaque on upper surface of base. "S.W.A" etched on front panel of base.
