Brass. Signed, 'CHRISTIANUS HEIDEN MATHEMATUM studiosus faciebat. ANNO CHRISTI. M. D. LIII'.

On the front are: a geometer's square; a universal quadrant for correlating the declination values of the zodiac with latitudes from 25° to 65°; a scale of unequal hours, and a shadow square. There is an index arm with one sight; a cursor moving along this arm is missing.

On the back is a Regiomontanus dial, the index and plumb-line of which are missing.
