Two chronometers, of three received by the Museum under the will of Mr John Barton; the 3rd is a small Hamilton chronometer-watch used by Felix Brandsten in a voyage across the Atlantic in 1948 [Handling Collection].
/1 Marine chronometer by Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe (GUB), Glashütte, Germany (no.10875), 1950s or 1960s, mounted in gimbals in a glass-topped box. 13404
/2 Quartz clock by Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, PA, U.S.A., late 20th century, set in a wooden box in the manner of a marine chronometer but not gimbals-mounted. 13405
