Gilt and silvered brass; with leather-covered, silk-lined pasteboard case. Signed, "Johann Martin Willebrand, in Augsp: ..."; undated.

The dial-plate of the compass is adjustable according to the variations in magnetic-deviation.

Inside the lid of the case is an engraved silvered brass disc, giving the latitudes of several towns.
