German EQUINOCTIAL RING-DIAL and COMPASS DIAL
18th century.

Brass and silver. Signed, "I. Brauchle a Munich."; undated.

The ring dial, which is of the usual type, rests on the metal stand fixed to the wooden base, and can be lifted off for use.

In the base is a horizontal compass dial. This is also removeable and has a folding gnomon.
