Silver; in velvet- and satin-lined case covered with green fishskin. The protractor and sector are signed, "Langlois AParis aux Galleries du Louvre"; undated.

Includes: a protractor; a combined sector, square and plumb-level, with scales marked, "les Cordes", "les Solides"; "les Metaux", "Poids des Boulets", "Calibre des pieces", "les Plans", "Les poligones" and "les parties Egales"; a pencil-holder for two pencils, containing two styli; a pair of dividers with a detachable point; and a double holder for ?charcoal. Other instruments are now missing.
