| Provenance: | Patrick has a weakened immune system which means he was classed as Clinically Extremely Vulnerable during the COVID-19 pandemic. Vaccines have not been effective for him so he is still shielding after more than 2.5 years. His friends and family represented him at the #Forgotten500K Silent Vigil in Parliament Square on 22nd October 2022 to express their wish for the drug Evusheld to become available in the UK. Evusheld can protect against COVID-19 infection in the immunocompromised and so has the potential to end the shielding of vulnerable people.
